Having grown up roaming a large block where trees overflowed with tropical fruits and flowers, I was overtaken by the blend of colour and fragrance. In Spring, beautiful freesias filled our home, while waxy stephanotis flowers trailed a gumtree outside my bedroom window. To this day perfume and colour still affect me in the same way.
